It's a shorter drive than the downtown farmers market, and the vendor mix leans more toward prepared food and local growers than the tourist-facing setup at First Street.
For families or grandkids visiting in mid-August, Jurassic Quest is at the Lee County Civic Center at 11831 Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers from Aug. 14 through 16. That's a longer drive, closer to thirty-five minutes, but it's the kind of event that justifies making a day of it.

The Daniels Corridor Is Not a Substitute for Downtown
